Learning and Professional Development For New Employees
Professional development is a shared responsibility between Rutgers, the employee, and the supervisor. Increased knowledge and greater skills enable employees to perform more effectively in current and future positions, and increase workplace morale. Development of the Rutgers workforce is essential to the improvement and productivity of the university. Training and development programs at the university assist new employees with job-specific skills, expose them to university policies and practices, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and help them become comfortable with the university organization.
