Service/Maintenance/Trades Positions (Local 888) include custodial, maintenance, trades, dining, and other service positions such as electricians, grounds workers, maintenance mechanics, dining workers, and custodians.

Posting Announcements
888 postings (“orange sheets”) are available at the University Human Resources (UHR) office or your shop steward can advise you of other nearby posting locations. Vacancies are usually announced on Wednesday. The bid deadline date will always appear on each posting.

How To Apply
Internal Applicants: Submit an AFSCME Bid Form for each position of interest to the UHR office by 9 a.m. on the date indicated. List all related education and work experience that details how you meet the posted requirements.
